This year we will once again be having a food drive that will be November 18th - November 22nd . We are connecting our monthly reading challenge to this act of kindness by showing how little acts of kindness can add up to make a big difference.
*First 2 weeks of November, we will collect student drawings/cards/poems about Thanksgiving (this is optional but encouraged). These go to the food pantry.
*Week 3 (November 18-22) a box will be placed in your students classroom from cafeteria. As donations come in, they will fill in their color-by-number picture.
*Once the donations are collected, and the pictures are completed, each class will take a picture holding a provided letter. The letters together will spell out something like “Happy Thanksgiving from VES!”
