FFA Officers

National FFA Week: The Versailles FFA Chapter will celebrate National FFA Week from February 15-22, 2025, promoting the opportunities FFA offers in leadership, career preparation, and community service. Founded in 1928 as Future Farmers of America, FFA now spans all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

To mark the week, Versailles FFA will include bulletin inserts in local churches and host various activities, including theme days, daily trivia with prizes, and career development event practices. Members will also play FFA Bingo, make tie blankets for charity, hold a member breakfast to thank fruit sellers, and organize a self-care station with a therapy dog, massage chairs, and hydration options. Other highlights include "Drive Your Tractor to School" day, a visit from State Officers Jaden Hicks and Daniel Hartzel, line dancing at lunch, senior goodie bags, and teacher appreciation gifts.

FFA will also host officer elections, an alumni meeting, and middle school AG and junior high FFA sessions. The week concludes with a free community omelet breakfast on February 22, featuring Youth Farm Displays and Ag Photography.

Versailles FFA is dedicated to leadership and service, engaging in activities like food drives, Toys for Tots, and nursing home visits. FFA fosters success, providing members with leadership conferences, business opportunities, and scholarships. Through hands-on learning and agricultural education, FFA shapes future engineers, scientists, teachers, and producers, preparing them for careers in the food, fiber, and natural resources industries.
